Nothing turned my mood around like a good meal at company expense.

not that the food here has not been pretty good up till now but tonight I had a religious experience when it comes to food.. and somebody else payed for it, I smile inside.

First was grilled calamari and chorizo (although Canadian chorizo tastes more like andouille) with capers on a bed of greens and heirloom tomatoes. That glorious course was followed up by a braised lamb shank, asparagus, and couscous that was some of the best lamb i have ever had. Dessert was some apple custard thing I can hardly remember the name of but lord was it good. after it was 'several' beers at the hotel bar... probably why I do not remember the name of the yummy dessert.


Returning to my room I have discovered that TV up here stil shows Home Moives. Life is good for now. I hope top be back on town Wed. night at thelatest,,, wish me luck!!
