So it was quite a strange weekend. I went to Illinoying (not a typo. Illinois and annoying, I lived there for nine months and was not a huge fan) and the meetings were incredibly long and boring, but there were some good points. I got to see Blue Man Group (and sit in the front row) which was very cool because while I like them, it was not something that I would have chosen to go do on my own , but one of our vendors got us the tickets and it was a great show. The other very cool thing is that one of the other managers who I often hang out with at boring meetings once or twice a year brought me a present. I am a huge Chuck P. fan and he found a signed copy of 'Diary' and he got it for me. (Surprise, random presents are the best.) So , though there were times that I wanted to gouge my eyes out from boredom, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
