i have felt so weird and moody lately.
i don't know what it is.
random funny friday night moment....
sitting outside on the porch at the Local (yes, for those of you who don't live in the ATL my local bar is really called the Local) with a bunch of people. (8 of us) a car pulls into the parking lot and the driver is an older man with silver hair and that retired wealthy wanna be cowboy look and his wife looks a bit botox and plastic surgery. they have a big 'Golf' sticker on their vehicle. we wonder what they are doing there, as they are quite far from your typical Local customer (think 100 different flavors of 'hipper than thou'. i like it for the cheap PBR, comfy, rather private booths and the scenery, hipper than though boys also sometimes come in 100 different flavors of cute.) they park out back and come around the corner of the porch where we are sitting. the old man seemed to pause for a second when he looked up and saw me and Amelia sitting there with blue and pink hair. they entered the bar and then turned around and left right away. as they rounded the corner back towards their car, we said loudly that they should try the clermont, across the street as it was probably more their kinda place.
yesterday, i went to work for a bit and then did a bit of shopping.
i bought black tea,
i could not find the sneakers i want (i may have to buy them online) while i adore cheap sneakers and wear them (and wear them out) all the time, i also need to have a good pair that will last in the rotation.
i bought a new UglyDoll, Gato Deluxe
which led to an amusing conversation with a friend that i ran into at Criminal Records about the fact that i have friends in Jersey that call me Gato. (he forgot that gato means cat)
i also bought two books.
Touching from a Distance: Ian Curtis and Joy Division by Deborah Curtis
and
Gigantic: The Story of Frank Black and the Pixies by John Mendelssohn
last night i watched
i absolutely adored it.
for all you CW members out there, Kurt Russell's scarred, pervy and quite insane Stuntman Mike is my new 'Celebs You Find Hot But Are Ashamed to Admit It'.
here's to hoping that november is a good month, cause october really, really sucked.
i don't know what it is.

Also, "weird and moody" is pretty much a given when born under the sign of Cancer.
