Boo to the public library for having SG blocked.
It is going to take me a while to catch up on everything since I'm still busy setting things up around here but at least I can spend tonight on the web while watching the best of UFC on SpikeTV. (No I am not joking, I love UFC.)
Let's see highlights of the past few weeks, stream of conciousness style.
The day that I left-missed a flight, rebooked under the wrong name (husband's name and he wasn't going anywhere)
My brother thinks that crying at the airport is romantic-well then it was a very romantic departure. (FYI-I find it really disturbing how uncomfortable normal people are with raw emotion, they act like they never see it.)
Got here and had to haul ass to get to the rental agency to sign the lease and get my keys before they closed.
Camped in my empty apartment. (and I do mean camped, sleeping bag on the floor style)
IKEA is evil and wonderful at the same time, we have a very disturbing love/hate relationship right now especially since I went there two days ago to try and order the rest of the furniture that I need to be delivered and they were out of the three main large items which made it not worth paying the delivery for the smaller cheaper items that were in stock.It was more packed then before christmas because they were having a 'sale' but nogthing that I wanted was on sale. (Yes, I know that life would probably be easier if I drove and had a car but I like a challenge.)
