SG Pittsburgh: HelloweenIII This weekend.
It was much fun.
Saturday's 6 hour drive really sucked because of constant rain, thick fog and crazy mountainous Pennsy roads. But the music and conversation was good.
To all those who saw me at the party and wondered what the hell I was supposed to be,I will introduce you to one of the mantras in my life.
"IT was better in my head"
I thought of the idea of dressing as one of those crazy Japanese street girls a long time ago and changed the idea for the outfit a million times without really putting it on and looking in the mirror.
You see I can dress as crazy as I want and do all kinds of fancy makeup, but it joesn't change the fact that I am not Japanese. So the whole thing didn't work the way I wanted it to and I just looked kinda weird.
So forget what I really looked like and pretend that I looked like this.
To give myself a tny bit of credit, if you imagine those type outfits on a pale white girl, that is very similar to what I looked like, but no one but me was looking at me and seeing Japanese.
Oh, well.
My husband made a great "Shaun of the Dead".
The Holiday Inn Express was quite nice, with a king-sized bet and very enjoyable whirlpool tub.
The party was lots of fun and we got to see lots of peops that we don't see too often.
The ride home was much better since it was sunny and clear.
I was a bit freaked out by seeing this at the rest stop on the way home.
I need to go post in people's journals and request friendships and stuff.
I'll try to update later this week with some shout-outs, but I am lazy.
My pumpkin, Pumpy shriveled up while I was gone.
It was a little one, the size of a fist. The first one I ever carved, because when I was young we always painted them because My mom thought carving was too messy.
It was much fun.
