Currently we are on further restrictions due to the pandemic, so I've been trying fill my time at home to keep from boredom and depression. When I can, I try find activities I enjoy that also could potentially help others.
This weekend I'll be attending another online gaming charity event and an online bingo charity event.
The bingo event is over a Xoom call and is to raise money to support Stonewall’s programs serving NYC’s LGBTQ organizations and communities.
More about the organization is here http://www.stonewallfoundation.org
To support them I buy bingo cards here and attend their xoom call 12/5 9pm EST and listen to music and hang out with them online
For the online gaming event, I attended these on almost monthly basis primarily from https://lanfest.com/
Here is this weekends event https://lanfest.com/events/infernalanfall2020
The charity changes per event and this one is benefiting https://www.starlight.org/ which gives hospitalized and severely ill children entertainment and distractions through video games to help improve their experience and make their ordeal more manageable.
We are raising money for charity via a donor drive
They are also streaming many of the events through out the weekend on https://www.twitch.tv/lanfest and we are interacting on Discord
These are the main events

You have more harsh pandemic conditions than in our country, but what you do is always inspiring! It gives hope for a brighter future 🙌❤️

@dizmay In the US it is by the state and we don't have a unified set of country wide policies. Where I live we had opened back up a little bit but people abused it and we had very bad hot spots of infection rates. November 15th they increased the restrictions to revisit the topic on December 15th.. so shortly we will find out whether we are getting more restrictions or if they are reducing them. So it is a struggle for normalcy.
