GAMERS FIGHTING COVID-19

I've been a lot less active here lately due to work ramping up and even busier since the this current pandemic. (I'm working remotely and since I'm single and don't have kids, I do a lot of extra work at times to cover for people dealing with family and children during these "interesting times")

With social distancing, isolation/quarantine measures in place it is currently impossible (and highly unsafe) for large in person events I attend to happen... which brings me to the topic of this post

"LANFest is hosting online charity video game tournaments to raise money for organizations battling Covid-19. Since COVID19 has stopped us from meeting in person, we decided to fight back."

https://lanfest.com/
They have multiple online events and charity drives benefiting research hospitals and charity of each event's choice

I'm attending "Infernalwan" this weekend

There is a twitch steam of tournaments going on here https://www.twitch.tv/lanfest

If you're interesting in helping out you could donate to my current event here

Northwest Food Bank is the local charity chosen by this chapter and we have 5k goal

There is also a 20K goal national charity
