The sign reads no vacancy, but it feels so empty. Arid, dark, and lonely. The sun brings heat. The heat brings sweat. The sweat beads and slowly trickles down. That is real and one cannot deny that. It is everything else in the world that I question. Lost upon the high sea of sand.
