Ok....2nd blog. A little about me. Here we go....
For starters, I'm very much a 'night' person. Owl. Hawk. Thing. I'm more often than not up at all hours of the night and sleep during the day-star hours. I guess that happens when I work and prefer straight nights. Even as I type this I'm in what I refer to as 'Free-Thought Mode'. Not so much a delirious state, but it does happen when I run on little to no sleep. Random thoughts, being easily distracted, and several trains of thought are all trying to arrive at the station. At the same time.
Ummm...my profile will be a work in progress. I wanna try to avoid repeating here what is already there....
My MMORPG of choice is Dungeons & Dragons Online (aka DDO or Dungeons & Dragons: Eberron Unlimited). I've been playing it since Jan '07, have made a lot of friends, and lots of fun since then.
Wheeeeee!
Why does it seem like this is taking forever? I think this is why I don't do these things often. Had I been stoned, I probably wouldn't have made it past "go...."
I have a piercing in each ear and no tats. I like them and can admire the artwork that can go into one if done really well. As far as getting one myself, I over analyze it too much. In my mind, tattoos are permanent and should mean something. I like dragons, but I wouldn't rush out to get one. If I ever decide to get one, I think I'd want it to have some kind of meaning. Not only that, but where would it go? I don't know how much my body will change, which causes me to think which part of me will change the least. I'll over analyze it to the point where I give up on even the basic idea of one.
Which reminds me of two tattoo-related funny things I heard some where. I'm pretty sure one was from Robin Williams.
- Men should not get a tattoo of barbed wire around their arms because when they're 60-70 it could look like a picket fence.
- Women should not get a little rose bud tattoo on their boob because when they're older that rose bud turns into a long stem.
Pointing these observations out to my dad a few years ago almost made coffee come out his nose while sitting in a Tim Horton's.
Oh, something I haven't mentioned yet. My favorite Disney character is Stitch. An ex-girlfriend actually bought me a few stuffed ones (whatever you want to call them, stuffies, plushies, toys). Went to see the first movie in theaters with a friend and have all four movies.
I remembered something else but then forgot.....
(not kidding )
Oh yeah! Mr. Potato Head. For some reason, neither my little brother and I never had one when we were kids. I got my first one on my 26th birthday. And naturally, it couldn't be a 'normal' one. A friend had bought a DARTH TATER. And that kinda started the collection. I have a bunch, but they are all kinda geeky to me.
Alrighty, the aforementioned trains have had a collision. So on that note...
May The Force Be With You.
Bazinga.
