We are all God's children....weither he likes it or not
I have been nerding out hard core this week
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
-After finally being released in the States this past Tuesday, I finally got to watch what Square Enix should have released all those years ago as their first movie. Would have prefered seeing it on the big screen. The lip syncing threw me off a little with the English dub. The action was AWSOME, only real issue was your view was not always the best....oh well, its was so shiney . Would love to see the next movie be in the more fantasy realm of the franchise. Or at least if its going to be one of the later games, maybe Final Fantasy VIII.
Silent Hill
- In math X+Y=Y+X , this holds fast for video games and movies (i.e. Movie based game will suck = Game based on a movie will suck). This was not the case with Silent Hill. All the shiney and audio were great, I did howerver feel a little detactched from the movie since I was watching rather then interacting. The story seemed true to the previous games, but that is always secondary to the fact that the games is worse when playing in the dark and scaring the shit out of you. I did laugh a little watch the other movie patrons jumping before anything really happened. Oh and Pyramid Head was insane looking.
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow for the DS
- This has been my obsession for the last twp weeks. I've loved the Castlevania series since the NES. This one follows the events of Aria of Sorrow on the SP. There is as always back tracking in the game, but I enjoy the series, so thus bias dammit. Hell, the big "N" released a two-pack of Harmony of Dissonance and Aria of Sorrow , even heard today there will be another DS style Castlevania game soon .
The Watchman by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons
- That crazy bastard can write. After watching V for Vendetta with Nikkita when it came out, I kept meaning to dig out the TPB of the Watchman. If you are a fan of Alan Moore and haven't read this, then what the fuck is wrong with you. Go pick it up nowish dammit.
-To counteract all these nerdcore activities, I have returned to the gym. After a long absence, two weeks ago I started back and I'm feeling great. Still have a bit of rust on me, however I'm finding my stride. What still holds true is that I HATE SHOULDERS. I scare people in my gym since all I wear is black underarmor shirts and shorts with a black bandana over my eyes. I hate people looking in my eyes, plus it helps me focus.
Hopefully will do more this weekend. Little short due to my car. Really wanted to go see the Zero Boys last night and wanted to see the Red vs Blue guys at Jacon, but oh well. I have to go to a office thing tommorow. At least its free food.
Cheers All.
Sailing the seas singin, drinkin and wenchin to Hell and back.

P.S. I did see the preview for Pirates of the Caribean: Dead Man's Chest and the Omen, will definatly go see both. I will not go see MI:3, not just cause I hate Tom Cruise, the MI movies sucked anyways, don't think that will change.
P.S.S. God to Saturday mornin cartoons suck now dammit!!!
