So There is a Holiday today I'm told
There will not be some sort of anti-hallmark holiday rant here. Due that I am actually spending this holiday with someone I care deeply about for once. Last year I spent this holiday in San Antonio TX by myself at this training course for work. I even had a shitty rental car. I will be spending this holiday with The Girl (side note: I call her that because she calls me the boy) having dinner and giving gifts of warmness and fluffiness. Like kittens and baby chicks dammit.
Odd point to this day. For no reason what so ever, I felt like wearing cowboy boots. I do own a set along with a black cowboy hat (that I got on that trip to San Antonio) and a silver bullet belt with big oval belt buckle. So I wore the boots, bullet belt and my Irish rosaries. Just was odd I wanted to wear them. Although they are broke in as well as my set of Docs and Vans.
Out of all the shows from my childhood now on DVD, I really want Animaniacs. That show was great. Even the spin off of Pinky and The Brain that was shown in prime time when the WB was young. I miss the humor of the show the most. Had the obscure reference and subtitle jokes that my teenage mind found funny. So whatever gods of DVD are out there, bring this one out. If Charles in Charge can get a DVD box set, Animaniacs should be soon. Well at the very least, the movie I got my first nickname (Blinkin) from is coming out on DVD in April. Robin Hood: Men in Tights will finally fill my Mel Brooks collection. And yes I had to do the whole "Did you say Abe Lincoln" bit all though out high school.
So well happy massacre day all my darlin duckies and droogs. My Irish ass will be enjoying this day for once. Wish all of you well and good fortune to ya. Just look at it this way. Its almost exactly a month till St.Pat's and then a week after that its my Bday. So cheers.
