Well, if anyone actually reads this journal I have been struggling with my desire for more tattoos. My real world job and career is overcome by a large group of albeit wonderful people but staunch conservatives. There is this beautiful tattoo that I wanted to get below my left ear on my neck. My reservation is that I want to do international work within the next 2 years. In my experience, within third world countries my work will already be challenged by the fact that I am a woman. Unfortunately, the rest of the world does not view tattoos with the same artistic eye that many of us do. That is not to say that all people are that way.
Anyways...it is a struggle. I always seem to be fighting the various aspects of who I am. You would think at this point I would have my shit together, but hey I'm only human. So, if you ever wonder why you struggle with the same old shit...just give yourself the chance to start again tomorrow.
