Well, I did it and I'm home safe and sound. In 44 days (6 weeks and 1 day) I crossed the North American Continent twice, I saw 2 oceans, saw parts of 25 states, and rode 9,080 miles. My riding temperatures ranges from 54 degrees to 105 degrees I saw this great country from the seat of a motorcycle, not stuffed in a car with air conditioning. I got to feel the chill, the heat, the rain, and the bugs (yuck) and smell the smells of cities, farms, mountains, rivers, and oceans. What a journey it has been! I couldn't have done it without the support of my family and friends. It wasn't without challenges, 6 weeks away from home by yourself gets lonely. Some of what I saw, Wrigley Field, Lambeau Field, the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Badlands, Mount Rushmore, Sturgis, Yellowstone, Rt.50 through Nevada (The loneliest Road in America), Tahoe, Napa, Vegas, Death Valley, Maggie's Diner (Wild Hogs), a corner in Winslow Arizona, Rt.66, OKC memorial, the Tail of a Dragon, The Pacific and The Atlantic. Now to work on my next trip!
