this is going to be lame-o.
i) i started my job today. today i did data entry for a streptococcus pneumonae study (am i turning you on yet?) and listened to my discman all the while getting paid $15/hr to type "y", "n" "blood", "1", "0" ... you get the idea. 4 months of this = super sweet pay checks. i still have 3 million different antibiotic names speeding through my head
ii) i'm a little disappointed that i won't be going to ottawa for my birthday weekend. i had big plans but both my dad and sister are going away that weekend and my momma will be all by her lonesome. maybe i can convince her to go out and get drunk and dance and hit on younger men. she's a total hottie (for a mom)
iii) i miss my women love
iv) oh oh oh... my friend the boo and i are going out on friday with my ex-boyfriend who i haven't seen since we broke up like 3 years ago... we talk all the time on msn, i just hope it won't be weird
v) i found out that my best friend won't be around for my birthday either... his band is going on tour starting may 19 and ending july 1st or something. whatever... i missed his so i guess that's what i get for being a jerk

Sucks that everyone will be away for your B-day though. Mine's coming up too, fellow gemini. And guess what! No one will be around for mine either. Same as the last 3 years. No biggy.
I called my mom for Mother's day today and got the stinking answering machine. How lame is that? Had to leave her a Happy Mother's Day message. Blech..
