I'm drawing a blank on what to talk about.
Which is really sad, considering I only write about once a month.
So, since I can't think of anything to say, I'll do what I've seen a few people do and pimp my other pages.
Starting with, yes, MySpace.
Okay, I know that it's just about the worst designed site known to mankind. You'd think that when they were bought for hundreds of millions a couple years ago by News Corp, that they might invest a few bucks into improving the design and functionality.
But it's still incredibly popular, even with Facebook making big inroads.
And I like being able to add bands, comedians, etc., as friends.
So, go to my page - http://www.myspace.com/northernloner - and add me as a friend.
A great site I've been using for quite awhile now is Flixster.
It's a movie site. You can rate movies that you've seen, and indicate what movies you want to see, and even what movies you DON'T want to see. And then you can compare your taste in movies with your friends.
I'm at http://northern.flixster.com/ so go there and add me. Sign up for Flixster if you aren't already on it, and then add me.
A site I knew about ages ago, but only signed up for several months ago is Last.fm
You sign up, and download a small program that monitors what music you listen to on your computer.
You can share this with friends, and like Flixster, compare your tastes in music.
But it also recommends music to you based on what you listen to, and even has 'stations' that will play that music for you.
Pretty neat.
I'm at http://www.last.fm/user/northern12/ Add me!
And finally, since I mentioned Facebook, feel free to add me there.
Facebook is actually a really great site. Very well-designed and quite functional, it's also a bit more "real" than MySpace.
Though I'm sure as its' popularity grows by leaps and bounds, it will degenerate into another MySpace mess.
Facebook is different from MySpace in that people can only view your profile if they're on your friends list, and also because the majority of people actually use their real names there.

Humour me by adding me to your friends lists at these sites.
Well, I still haven't thought of anything worth saying, so I'll quit now, and make this my shortest entry in a very long time.
