I'm melting!
I hate summer. It gets so frigging hot and humid.
I live in a townhouse, and the ground floor gets really hot, but the second floor gets steamy hot with the humidity.
I finally dragged my air conditioner from the basement and have it going in my living room. It's made it fairly nice. But upstairs still sucks. I bought a dehumidifier yesterday, and set it up on the upstairs landing. It's still hot as hell, but at least it's a more tolerable heat because it's not as humid.
There's that annoying expression that it's not the heat, it's the humidity. It's true. I remember being in Las Vegas during a heat wave. Astoundingly hot, but somewhat comfortable as long as you kept hydrated.
But the humidity makes me sweat a lot. And fat people sweat an incredible amount. So not only am I feeling very warm, but I'm soaking in my own juices.
Then there's the medical issue. I take several medications for my psychiatric stuff, and all on the list of drugs that can cause hyperthermia. Yes, the opposite of hypothermia. Basically, in this heat, I can overheat easily.
Overheating, as in almost literally frying my brain.
So, if I act strangely or say something weird, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

It's fun to play in a band... I played the sax for 10 years in a bunch of different bands
