I didn't win Friday night's jackpot of $35 million in the Super 7 draw.
And yes, I actually had a ticket. Three in fact.
The most I ever win is a free ticket. I don't even win small prizes like 10 bucks.
But I keep buying tickets. Not for every draw, maybe every couple.
And I know I have about 4x the chance of being hit by lightening than winning the Super 7. Don't know what the comparision is for Lotto 6/49, but I buy those sometimes too.
And what really pisses me off is the people who usually win, especially the extra big jackpots.
They're always either 80 years old, or they have a good paying job and a paid-for house. The old people end up giving away most of the money to their family, and frankly, the people with a good paying job aren't exactly desperate for money.
It seems very rare that someone at the end of their rope wins.
Life sucks that way.

I mis-read "odd" as "good." you're right.

If I won the lottery I would buy insecticide treated bed nets for as many people as I could to minimize their exposure to the anopheles mosquito. That and party!!!
