Okay, feeling a bit more rested now. Though I'm perpetually tired, so it's a relative concept.
While I was in Toronto, I saw Scary Movie 4. It was the usual lots of laughs with virtually no story. But, c'mon, if you're going to pay big bucks to see a movie, isn't it better to leave with a smile on your face? Then again, I prefer stupid movies.
I did a lot of what I hoped to do while in Toronto. Bought some kosher food, though due to Passover my choices were more limited.
Also had some great Ben & Jerry's ice cream - chocolate brownie. They don't sell that around here.
Rented some really raunchy hardcore. And, umm, that's all I'll say about that publicly.
Didn't get to rent any documenties. Blockbuster was out of anything that looked interesting. I think it's because a lot of other people were renting movies (more than usual) due to the holidays. Good Friday is a day-off for almost everyone in Canada, and so is Easter Sunday, so I guess they were busier than usual.
Saw my best friend for a few hours, which is always a treat.
One thing about going to Toronto, the place I lived for most of my life, is always seeing how quickly it changes. Buildings pop up where there was nothing, or in place of a smaller one. Stores I used to know are no longer there, usually replaced by chain stores. And empty fields in the suburbs are replaced by acres of big box stores. What's that saying? You can't go home again?
Yeah, cuz they tore it down.
