1 Hussy Black Carl Borrowed

A local group this is one of their better tracks. It's kinda bluesey. Sounds like Joss Stone.
I wish they had their No Diggity cover on the album.

2 Text Support A life of Science

Another local group that I saw at atomic comic. They have their own comic too. That they make that tells the story of the album ala Coheed and Cambria. It's a nice spacey MGMT kind of track

3 It Don't Move Me Peter, Bjorn and John Living Things

They played here twice but once in tuscon and another opening for a bigger band that I don't really like all that much. I like the electronic direction they went with this album it kinda reminds me of the Bloc Party album last year in theme and content.

4 Actor out of Work St. Vincent Actor

Great rocking track. I'm going to try to see here in february when she plays at the Rhythm Room.

5 Pink Lemonade Girl in a Coma

New Mexico grrl rock group. They had Joan Jett helping them on this album and she's actually on a track not this one but I like this one better. Saw them with Miss Dillinger and got this cd signed.

6 I Know What I Am Band of Skulls

Uk group with an amazing cd with excellent vocals from the female/male lead singers.
They have a great variety of songs.

7 I'm an Animal Neko Case Middle Cyclone

Country music that's good! One of the best records of the year.

8 The Rake's Song Decemberist

9 Back Against the Wall Cage the Elephant

Saw them at the marquee they were amazing live! I love seeing a band when they're new like that the energy of it is infectious.

10. Knotty Pine Dirty Projectors w/ David Bryne

Talking Heads are amazing so I love hearing Bryne's Voice on anything. Dirty Projectors are technically brilliant they have some amazing interwoven harmonies. It's incredibly intricate and awesome to see live. I saw them at the rhythm room.

11)The Mountain Heartless Bastards.... They opened for Jenny Lewis and they are from Cinci. They play moody bluesy rock. This track has a great chord progession best new band also
12) Click Click (Bang Bang) Miss Derringer Winter Hill saw them at the Hollywood Alley with Girl in a Coma. Which is a great bar venue they have nice seats good lighing and sound and cheap drinks definitely my favorite venue. They play rockabilly/Ronettes style oldies rock and roll.

13)Bag Of Hammers Thao and The Get Down Stay Down Kindof a long name but they've got some cool music.

14) Heavy Cross Out' K.F.lay Is a Berkley Rapper that's kinda nerd core she did a song with MC Lars that was some what decent. She's better on her own though.

15) Dreamer K'naan the Somalian rapper best line We're from the worst place besides Khandahar and that's kinda hard.

16) Gimmie Sympathy Metric Saw this played live the acoustic vers.

17) DJ hero Random saw him live he's a nerdcore rapper that lives around here.

18) The Reeling Passion Pit great song from a group that sounds like GBV/M83/Neon Indian

19) Deadbeat Summer Neon Indian Saw them live at the Rhythm Room good show they had a gane genie connected nes projected behind them

20) The Hogwart's Tonsil Hockey Team Harry and The Potters funny song by this brit band who's whole shtick is all HP related songs

22) Bombs over Broadway Violent Soho

I wanted to fit a Pearl Jam song and one from tech 9's new one but ran out of time room

Next years music concert selection is starting off well I have Sonic Youth and Afi next mo.
