It'a a nice day out today, and being that I work a shift where I can actually enjoy the good hours in a day (when I'm not sleeping that is) & I'm only going to be on this shift for another week or two, I thought I would do something "outside" today (meaning: outside my apartment).
So, I wanted to get some new clothes, but since I am super-poor right now, I went to the only place where one can find the cheapest of cheap clothes... the Goodwill. And much to my surprise, I found way TOO much that I like. I mean, stuff I'd spend like 15 on in the store, I spent 3.29 on there! So I bought a lot. Which is bad. BUT I can't really fit into my HUGE closet of skinny clothes, so I needed to do something. I'm tired of covering myself in big t-shirts. And I bought, get this... 2 SKIRTS! I don't WEAR skirts. One is a cute black one w/slits on both sides and it comes right past my knees (which is good cause I hate my knees) and the other is long & gray, and slimming, and cute... I also got an awesome pair of pajama pants (which I will probably now wear everyday until holes begin to appear, and after that I'll go to every OTHER day...) and I got lots of shirts. I am excited. That made my day.
As for this weekend... I am now going to be going to Chicago with Jason, Bill, Eric, & their friend Moe. I don't think I've been this excited to do anything in, like, a long time. A VERY long time. I have not been to Chicago since I was like 5. Wait, no, actually I went there in high school for a day w/my school. Ok, so I lied. But anyway, I'm going with FRIENDS (or at least 2 people I sort of know & 2 more I hope to get to know well). And I will have FUN. I can wear all of my new clothes & just relax for a few days & just have fun. Drink a little. Laugh a lot. (Ok, maybe drink a lot... we'll see). So, as you can all tell, I'm looking forward to this weekend. This is what I really need. It worried me at first though, b/c I thought I was sort of inviting myself, which is never any good. But from what it sounds like, they really want me to go. And I hope that's the case. B/C I really want to.
Ok, enough of my rambling. I should go take a nap, but I'm way to hyper -- so I'm going to go rearrange the living room...
Adios!

Chicago is such a great fucking city. I haven't been there in several months, I really need to get down there sometime soon.
I think I am going to head to the Shrine and Mystery Hill next week, if I can even afford anything that is....I'll stay away from Buchanan, I suppose.
