People who have never suffered the same way can only empthathize, they can't sympathize.
I try to tell myself people are simply just different. Some people just feel more intently than others. When one says to the other, why don't you just get over it, we just can't understand. How can you just get over it.
But it has too sides. Every point of herendous grief has a counterpoint of equall joy. We are the people who revell in the way rain smells, who see the universe in a sunset, who feel the electricity of a quiet moment, and see infinite possibilities in everything.
We are the ones who simply feel differently. We walk a line between experiencing and being consumed, and sometimes we fall. But in the end, we are the ones who get the most out of life. We are the ones who understand passion, sacrifice, grief, and joy -- we are the poets, the artists, the culmination of what it is to be human and live.
