Okay, time for a real blog now.
Since I deactivated my account, a lot has happened.
My oldest son, Shawn, turned 4. I can't believe it. We went to Chuck E. Cheese and Toys R Us. In fact almost a month later and he is still talking about it. Let me tell you my son is a world champ at getting bonuses on those games, he got 5 bonuses on games. By himself he earned almost 1600 tickets, altogether he had nearly 3000 tickets to spend on prizes. It was absolutely a great day. My youngest son, Landon, is turning 6 months on the 28th of this month. Time is just flying by. He sits up, rolls over, holds his own bottle, and eats tons and tons of baby food. He has a little Buddha belly, he is now weighing in at 20 pounds. Oh and Shawn is finally 100% potty trained. He no longer wants to wear pull-ups, he no longer has accidents when he takes naps or sleeps at night. It is such a relief and about time. No more spending $20 a week on pull ups. Unfortunately, some not so great news, Shawn is getting his tonsils and adenoids taking out and tubes put in his ears on July 19th. I'm terrified, he is only four but I know it's pretty common and will help him in the long run, I just don't want him to hurt.
I finished my Spring semester with one A and two B's. I was pretty stoked, I would have liked all A's again, but I figure passing with A's and B's with a 3 year old and a newborn and starting a new job is pretty good. Right now I'm about half way through my Summer semester. I'm taking four classes in 8 weeks, it is hectic, but so far so good. I'll be happy once it's over though. I'm taking Economics, Pharmacology, and two Sociology classes. I appealed my financial aid dismissal for the local community college, and those bitches denied me. They told me I have done nothing to prove I am academically worthy of receiving financial aid and that I'm a risk. I guess receiving 5 A's and 2 B's, making my GPA 3.71 and making the Dean's list isn't proof enough that I'm heading in the right direction. They are just bitter because I took classes online through another school that offered me financial aid rather than paying them out of pocket. So come Fall semester I will be commuting 45 minutes Monday-Thursday to continue schooling. It's a bitter sweet deal. Unfortunately, I have to drive an hour and a half four days a week. But, I get to meet new people and not have to deal with anyone I already know. I was lucky enough to be able to set my science classes in the afternoon, so I'm still able to work in the mornings and not miss a day of work. Then I will be taking two classes online.
I applied for an income based apartment. A friend of mine use to live there and they are fairly decent. Nothing to fancy. I should be finding out soon if I got it or not. I'm ready to move out of my parents house. Although, I do enjoy the help and everything. But, I'm ready to be on my own and take care of my children the way I want to raise them. I want to be head of the household rather than the daughter with her two kids taking up half my mom's house. I know it will be hard but it will be good, or at least I think.
Danny, the boy's father, has been gone for the past month. He left May 26 for a National Guard School, he will return (or at least is suppose to) on June 25th. It's actually been kind of nice without him here, I was able to get the boys are a fantastic schedule since I don't have to switch them back and forth. It will be nice once he returns so I can get a break every now and again but I have to say I enjoyed having the boys completely to myself. His parents were suppose to get a hold of me each week to take the boys at least once a week (as requested by them) and they have yet to call and take the boys once. I don't care, it's there loss. Danny has become a better father lately (we shall see if it lasts) but his parents are worthless and don't deserve to be called grandparents. They don't treat my boys as though they are family, and she told me that she will take them once Landon can occupy himself. So once Landon is 4 and wants to play by himself she can take him and Shawn together. She is just mad because my boys are fucking awesome and her son is a pansy. Amazingly, Danny and I have not argued in over a month (probably because he is gone) and we haven't slept together since before Landon was born. I'm not physically or emotionally attracted to him anymore and it makes it so easy to turn down any offer. Plus, who knows what girls he has been with recently.
I would like to say that I'm back in shape and back to my pre-pregnancy weight but that's not the case. I still have about 12 pounds to lose to be back to that. But finding the time to work out is damn near impossible. One day, maybe. Let's see, I chopped my hair. I only have a few pictures, I'll post below.
Work is going good. Same old, same old. Six days a week from 7-11am. I have worked there a little over 3 months now. There are some people that I just can't stand and that are pretty worthless. But what can I do about that. I've gotten pretty close with a girl I work with. It's always nice to go and vent and talk about boys and anything else.
I think that is it for now. As you can see most things are going well but are extremely hectic. So if I don't update too often you understand why.
