So hanging with my little man, wow he is absolutely amazing. He made my great mood about a billion times better. Hung out for a little bit with a friend of mine and just talked to her about life in general. Talked to her about things that have happened within the past year and things that should have been done differently. I messed up with many relationships in my life. I'm thrown gasoline onto the fire and just watched everything burn. I apologized to those who deserved it, and lost many people throughout the years. I'm come to term with it all. I can't change what I did, I can't make things better with everyone...BUT I can make sure I do better in the future. I don't want to hurt people anymore and I don't want to change myself for anyone.
For those who I have hurt in the past at anytime, I sincerely apologize. Also, for anyone who has ever hurt me, I forgive you.
So I was asked out on a date today. I haven't decided if I want to yet. It's not that it's too soon since Dan...I just don't think I'm ready to jump into dating of any kind. I messed up my last relationship pretty badly. I just think I need to focus on me and Shawn. Boys will always be there, I don't need the extra stress in my life.
Also, I'm thinking of joining the National Guard. Any opinions?

Ya it might be smart to wait, you got a son and school, you don't need more complications. Yet don't let your past hold you back, all relationships fail except the one that doesn't.

National Guard eh? I came close to signing up for the Navy around 2002, but didn't. I'd just say look beyond what your recruiter tells you, it's pretty much their job to oversell the benefits. Talk to people who've served there (or at least find things they say online) and think specifically about what you want from the experience and how it fits in with practical things like raising your son.
