I am almost unpacked.
I took some more books to the bookstore yesterday. These were just the two cases that had already been sifted through by one bookstore, so I wasn't expecting much. They took a small stack of books and gave me $12 worth of store credit, yippee. I promptly spent $10 of that on a fantastic book that I needed from the moment I saw it: "On Descartes' Philosophy by Baruch Spinoza"; be jealous!
Next week sometime I am going to take 4 or 5 more cases down to the bookstore. I should have more than enough to get the almost complete works of Voltaire that I want. There are a few other things that I am going to need them to order. I want Marx's Capital and I want the 5 volume set of "Platonic Theology" by Marsilio Facino and, of course, "Make Your Own Damn Movie: Secrets From a Renegade Director" by Lloyd Kaufman. I doubt I will be able to get all of them, but I should get most of those. It will mean turning 8 cases into about 30 books, but 30 very good books, dammit.
Today I need to run some errands. I have to go over to campus and bug them because I still have not heard from them as to whether or not I have been reaccepted. If I have been I need to register and get all my classes for the fall. Then I need to apply for financial aid. I also have a few places to change my address. I need to run to the bank and close out an account that has been inactive for awhile. Now, doesn't that sound like a fun, fun, fun day?

I have SO many fucking books that I'll never read again and really have no emotional ties to. I guess I should look into the "used bookstore" thing, huh?
What classes are you taking in the fall? Or hoping to take?
