Did I mention that unpacking sucks ass?
I need to sit on my ass for a whole day and listen to baseball while reading. I haven't done that for awhile.
Things are going super fucking well with the girlfriend. These last few weeks have been great. It's weird actually being happy for a change.
Tiffany's introduced me to Invader Zim. I had heard of it, but never actually watched it until a couple nights ago. It's good stuff. Tonight I think I will introduce her to Red Dwarf.
Today I managed to pick up a copy of The Magnificent Ambersons. I've never seen it, but it's directed by Orson Welles, so it's gotta be good. They haven't released it on dvd yet and the local video store does not have the vhs for rental. But we were at a second hand shop and they had a vhs copy of it for a mere $4, so I had to get it.
I sold some books today. I had just shy of 20 cases of books when I moved. That's way too fucking many. I need to pare down my library a bit. So, as I have been unpacking them I have been sorting them into "keep" and "not keep" piles. I took three cases from the "not keep" pile to the bookstore today, they bought one case of them and that makes me sadhappy. I mean, it's cool that I got rid of some stuff that I didn't want anymore and with the store credit I can alomst buy the Complete Works of Voltaire that they have there, but it makes me sad too because I hate parting with books.

I'm sorry about your grandmoms... Yeah. I think the main thing that I'm worried about now is my mother. I don't want to have to go through the same thing with her, you know?
Sigh. Good to be back in the mitten again, though.
