Damn, I've been slacking on the updates. I've been working. I've been slacking on my reading too, so I haven't finished a book in a week or so. As much as I am enjoying the Evelyn Waugh book I'm reading, it's been slow going.
Mostly I've been working. I'm trying to scrape together enough money to pay the security deposit on the new place. I'm getting excited since I move in about 10 days from now. That gives me 10 days to get about $300 together. The nice thing is that it isn't an unreasonable goal if I can control my spending habits. I need to start eating in again....maybe cut down on bartrips. Doesn't help that apparently my insurance company has already found out about the ticket I got a couple months ago and my payment about doubled.
I've been hanging out with TiffanyJewel a lot lately. She's so much cooler than I. I adore that girl. We watched both versions of Lolita the other night. She'd never seen either of them. So we started with the Kubrick version (which I prefer) and then went on to the more recent Adrian Lyne version (still good, but Frank Langella is no Peter Sellers, dammit).
I get to work 4-11ish tonight. Then tomorrow I have about a 13 hour shift, should be fun. Sunday I work 11-7ish. Hopefully between those three days I can knock out a huge chunk of the money I need to save. Sunday night I should be seeing the newest Star Wars, finally. I'm not that huge of a fan that I needed to go see it right away. I do, however, feel obligated to see it on the big screen since I've seen all of the other ones on the big screen (first-run for all of them except the original, hey I was just barely over a year old when it came out).
I got an email from my Aunt who lives out in San Fran. She's coming to Michigan for a week, so I'll get to hang out with her. She's one of my favorite relatives. She's on of the few relatives I would still like to know and hang out with even if we weren't related.
Anyway....that about covers the last few days.....now it's off to make sure I'm completely caught up on what's been going on around here.

no, I've never seen it because everyone I know who has seen it has hated it, but now that it's on dvd, I'd like to see it...being there w/ peter sellers is probably one of my all time favorite movies, so any movie w/ sellers can't be all that bad...
