Go look at Aura's set....wow. She's made a home in my favorites and may be up there for awhile. And to think I'd never even heard of her until yesterday evening. [So, I just realized, I did know she existed, but I knew who she was under a different name when she was just a member.....]
I started reading the Evelyn Waugh book that I picked up. Good so far, it kinda reminds me of P.G. Wodehouse. As an aside, I never knew Evelyn Waugh was a guy, go figure.
I went to see The 400 Blows last night at the local museum. It was pretty damn fucking good. I'd never seen it before. In fact, this was my first Truffaut film. He moves the camera amazingly well especially when you consider it was his first feature film. The main character gave the second best performance by a kid I have ever seen (behind, of course, the kid who plays Alexander Ekdahl in Fanny and Alexander).
The museum released their summer schedule of films. The highlights are:
The General (I've never seen a Keaton film on the big screen)
The War of the Worlds (In honor of the (I suspect) shitty remake)
Raiders of the Lost Ark (One of the best action films ever)
Goldfinger (No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die....)
Roman Holiday (Mmmmmm, Audrey)
The Meaning of Life (Oh, I see you have the machine that goes "ping")
Jaws (I think we're going to need a bigger boat.)
American Graffiti (Is it wrong that American Graffiti is my favorite George Lucas film?)

Do you have my new number? If not, it's in my previous journal entry. I don't have you in my phone.
