Well, I was bored, so I went shopping.
I got two new shirts. For the last few months I have been trying to expand my wardrobe a bit so that when I want to go look for a new job I am not restricted by only owning t-shirts.
I got new books also:
Whisky Galore - Compton Mackenzie
The Life and Extraordinary Adventures of Private Ivan Chonkin - Vladimir Voinovich
The Short Reign of Pippin IV - John Steinbeck
As I Lay Dying - William Faulkner
The Sound and the Fury - William Faulkner
Strange Meeting - Susan Hill
The Marquise of O_____ and Other Stories - Heinrich von Kleist
Rabbit, Run - John Updike
Something Fresh - P.G. Wodehouse
The Ordeal of Gilbert Pinfold - Evelyn Waugh
The Madhouse - Alexander Zinoviev
Slowness - Milan Kundera
Look Homeward, Angel - Thomas Wolfe
Seven Plays - August Strindberg
The Book of Dede Korkut
Anyone read any of those?

(it took me two reads - but it was well worth it)
The Sound and the Fury - William Faulkner - faulkners pinnacle - can be a bit drab at points, but
really shows his mastery of symbolism - i read it twice in school - helpful to read reviews with it
Rabbit, Run - John Updike - if this is your first updike be prepared top get addicted
