Things I did today.....
1. Went to work for a couple hours.
2. Bought lunch for the guys at work. You see, my general manager is not excessively bright and she told the manager that the store owed me money even though it didn't. So, I used the $15 to buy chinese food for myself and the two guys I was working with....I had Szechuan Chicken, yum.
3. Watched Dreams and then watched Bubba Ho-tep (with commentary by the King!) and then watched Logan's Run (also with the commentary).
4. While watching movies I burned more cd's until I was out of discs. So, I took a shitload of cd's over to the used cd places and sold several.
5. While selling cd's I browsed the used dvd section and came across a used copy of Hero for sale....I couldn't resist. Thankfully even with buying that the money I made from selling cd's provided me with ample cash to purchase Seasons 5 & 6 of Red Dwarf which come out tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! I will be at the store the moment it opens to purchase them and then I will be having a Red Dwarf marathon.
6. I filled out an online application last night after I got home from work. Today they called me and I set up a phone interview for tomorrow afternoon. It would be for a job as a parking attendent downtown. Sounds like it would be about 35-40 hours a week, not sure what the pay rate will be. So, wish me luck on that. How cool would it be if a mere two or three days after submitting my notice I already had a job lined up. Not quite as cool as winning the lotto tomorrow, but it's a close second. The shift would be from 3-10, so maybe I'll be able to find a fast food or delivery job for the lunch rush somewhere and pick up some extra hours and cash.
7. Tonight I will be drafting my second fantasy baseball team. Yesterday we drafted and I only got one of the three guys that I wanted to get in the first three rounds. Maybe I will do better tonight.

It is a union town, so you will only find companies like wal-mart on the outskirts for the most part. Rent prices aren't bad and being a pro-labor town, wages are generally pretty good.
They are doing a lot of highway and airport expansion currently, as well as expanding the light rail system. Right now the light rail can get you to downtown, and will drop you off at any professional sports venue, which is nice.
Excellent italian food, thin crust pizza, and toasted ravioli. Be forewarned, at many local pizza places there they will use provolone instead of mozzarella. I remember when I was a little kid that if you ordered from pizza hut or dominos it would come with provolone. which, in my opinion, is the way to make a pizza.
