Wow, I've been a slacker and haven't updated in awhile....

I finished reading An Essay on the Principle of Population by Thomas Malthus. It was very good. Since I am too poor to acquire copies of the books I want to read, I decided to pull about 10 books off my shelf that I keep meaning to read and just haven't gotten to yet. The next two months or so will be devoted to Locke, Hume and Schopenhauer.....fun stuff.

I went to dinner tonight with my pretty much my entire family. It wasn't too bad.

I still haven't gotten my radio fixed.

I did make enough in tips to pay my phone bill. Now I just have to worry about my cable/modem bill and my car payment.

It's rare that I get stressed about money, but I kinda am right now. I owe my parents some money that I told them I would pay back about a month ago. I have a few bills due that I don't have money for. I am going to have to defer my student loan payments. I'm over my balance on my credit card. The "check engine" light is still coming on in my car even though I just got a bunch of work done on it. I need a new or second job. As much as I love working 35 hours a week and having a ton of time to read, I really should be working 60 or so. It would kill me, but I need to get my bills caught up and start paying some debts.

Anyway....I'm gonna catch up on people's journals and such and then start reading An Essay Concerning Human Understanding by John Locke.
