So I am finally home from fixing a garage door I broke and the Edmonton Expo. Yeah, won't go into how I broke a 10x12 foot door off it's hinges, but I did, and I spent a good amount of time at my farm placing those doors back into the cannon tubes they were placed in to slide from side to side in.
On the Edmonton Expo, it was very exciting. So many things to see, and still didn't get all I want, because I lost my debit card and only had $200 on me. However I got to meet the famous cosplayer Jessica Nigri, whom is a wonderful lady! In a awesome Ramona Flowers costume. She even gave me a free print since I'm losing my voice and spent most of my $200 on prints for my friends and I.
I also got the two new tattoos I shared in my previous blog. the Spider-Man tattoo which now rests upon my left shoulder
and now also Griever, a symbol of strength through my whole cancer shenanigans. Both done in Edmonton. Spider-Man was done in West Edmonton Mall in Dragon FX while Griever was done by Robyn at Goodfellas Ink in Edmonton. Definitely check out Robyn at Goodfellas Ink, she's great! I might get her to do my Star Wars sleeve. Griever is below.
Now there were some great cosplay at the Edmonton Expo which I will share with you. One of them being Batman and Catwoman from the Dark Knight Rises movie, which was a pretty fantastic movie for those who haven't seen it. Check out the cosplay. It was pretty well done.
There was also Bane and another lady, whom I think is Harley Quinn, not entirely sure, but the costume looked great. I was very impressed with it, and really want my own Bane mask! Next Expo I can go to I might be going as Bane myself.
I also managed to get a picture with a lovely model who is the main character in the comic Conflict by Mike Roshuk. I would recommend checking it out the photo/artwork is pretty impressive and the story is interesting. Looking forward to how it develops.
Now there were plenty of Deadpool cosplay that I wish I got a picture of, but every time I tried to reach one for a picture, I unfortunately was unable to catch up to them. I instead got both Spider-Man and Venom!
Unfortunately the Spider-Man cosplay is on a different camera and someone else has that camera.
Although I did manage to get a really cool picture of Cloud and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, again a lot of the costumes we're really good.
Even managed to get a picture of a couple of Gears at the expo.
Well for those who read this blog, I hope you enjoy!
