Ever have to record rap lyrics to a song about pizza delivery? I nearly had to. That was embarrassing considering that I'm not the biggest rap fan. They informed me though that I had the best rapping voice for it. As hilarious as the lyrics were, it was just uncomfortable. That's how the fun started yesterday. We ended up going to the local Moxies for something to eat and visit a favorite waitress a friend and I got to know, she bought us a round of shots. What a fantastic waitress she is, I will mention. As we waited for our food the discussion rounded about several things, some appropriate for this blog, and some wildly inappropriate I would prefer not to mention. However it was a great night, I was practically broke because I already spent my $500 on a trip to Edmonton because I had to go there for a consultation regarding my surgery. So the little money I had left($20) went to my friend Dakota(the fellow Moxies regular), and we ordered the food. We had some delicious appetizers and then we started ordering the drinks, well we didn't order any drinks. Dakota and another friend Chad were enabling me, and of course enjoying alcohol and it's rude to refuse a friend, how could I say no? So we had the waitress surprise quite a few times and they were delicious. The booze was all expensive and I chipped in exactly $22 in cash and change, and started playing music, blaring it out the car window. It started by playing This Is A Gangsta Rap's song "Nigga Nigga" and then moved forward to Rein Xeed's cover of "Amazing Horse" and then even onward to Haddaway's hit single "What is Love?" By the point we got to "What is Love?" Dakota had brought out his cars mini neon lights he had set up in the car and informed me that I was to use them to dance. Driving down the highway, all you would see is a car and on the inside, blue neon lights being waved around in and outside the car. Even got to the point we put on "We Like To Party" by the Vengaboys, and the song from Mortal Kombat. As the night eventually progressed into the really early day at one o'clock in the morning. We had grabbed acoustic guitars stopped by a field and started playing the guitars, and singing, until three in the morning. All in all it was a fantastic time.
