i was plunged into a world that i'm not sure i wish to return to on saturday. "what was this strange place that natalie has gone?" you may be asking yourself. it was UberCon. Yes the con for gammers and other nreds of that persausion (did i spell that right?). i am a nerd, but only in the horror film sense. i know nothing of web comics or role playing games nor do i wish to enter into that realm of nerdom. i'm quite happy being able to rattle off horror titles instead of rolling dice and pretending i'm an elf. this is not to say i didn't have fun. i was on time release aderol so that helped and i got a pretty pretty necklace. i also got to watch the first half of the lain series which i enjoyed. we also escaped breifly to the mall across from the hotel and i purcahsed a DVD copy of Bio Zombie. no more watching the carppy VHS copy lorne made me. coming away from this event i felt as if i should have taken notes and submitted a sociological report on this sub culture. it's not as if chiller cons are that much better.

i liked your rain poem. it's too cold to rain here now. your poem is my surrogate.
*cons are bad news. i avoid them.
