I always try really hard not to use my journal as just a place to bitch and complain....cuz I mean really, who wants to hear it? But for today, I just gotta say things with Jeannie have been the shits for the last few days.

Slept on the couch last night and not particularly looking forward to going home after work.

I need something. I have no idea what, but something new to kick start me a bit, to freshen up.

Maybe a weekend vacation. Maybe some new ink. Maybe a new guitar

I feel all numbed out and into some kind of brainless routine. I just need some enthusiasm for something. I feel like I'm all weighted down and need something shiny to focus on.

I got a $30 gift card for HMV as a belated B-day present yesterday.....

....what should I get?

My wife leaves for her conference in the morning. She's flying to Toronto and will return on Wednesday evening. That's five days of Daddy duty! This is a first for this length of time since the baby.
