i had a fab weekend. on friday nite, we went to sallys (one of pixxies friends) place for a scary slumber party. i only stayed to finish night of the living dead (the original). after that, pixxie stayed the night at sallys and i went off to noteslebs recording studio jamfree (which notesleb runs with his brother) for a late nite jam session with him and my h.s. buddy chris taylor (who was mealtickets original drummer). those guys are such awesome players. it was intimidating, exhilarating and motivating all at the same time to play with them again. i did the best i could to keep up with them (because i havent played improv jazz-type jams in a long, long time) but i had so much fun playing and hanging out. thanks guys. i really needed that. saturday, i had lunch with some friends and then met up with pixxie again after her job interview, which went really well for her. yay! ive got my fingers crossed because she really wants this job. that nite, pixxie taught me how to play canasta (the card game) and then we went to see vgs with maxx. yes, maxx was out there mixing it up!!! ive seen and played shows with vgs many times, and it was really cool to see that theyre still enjoying themselves and writing solid music. sunday, i had to work for a while; but, we had brunch at the tudor house tea room and got to have coffee and chat with our friend, matt. then, we went and got our passport photos (because pixxie and i are heading off to fiji for our honeymoon! cant fn wait!), had dinner and took care of some more wedding stuff. whew!

I remember building sets for e3 when I worked for Lexington Scenery...man it was a big convention back then, it must be really huge now.
