Sometimes the value of existence is brought home in a very big way: the message from the doctor was, "the biopsy was benign."
But let's not make too much of it either...it's good for sure but then it won't always be so. I can't go to that place where so many go: "i'm going to live evey moment, grab all the gusto, time is my most valuable asset, you only go 'round once"...no friends, my most enjoyable memories and experiences come when I take life for granted and don't worry about the time line...what I'm truly grateful for is that I still don't know what the time limit is; and in that I am totally relieved.
Live it. Enjoy it. And take it for granted. It's our gift.
