I had a blast last nite. My 1st time @ this local bar & this great band plays there every Wednesday nite. They were so tight musically & played 50's & 60's swing/rockabilly music. They rocked & everyone was just having a great time. I even danced a little, but not on the designated dance floor. I am still too shy & uncoordinated for that.
Also played 7 games of pool w/ various people & I won every game! I was on fire!
Was wearing my pig-tails of course, & now have the nickname Peggy Sue.
I hope to make this a weekly thing b/c it sures breaks up the work week nicely.
Anyone who doesn't mind venturing East County, let me know b/c the joy must be spread & the band would like a little more support & energy as well.
