I find it pleasantly odd that when nothing is going wrong in life there is very little to write about. Conflict and drama interest people, and those abstracts seem to have a need to be expressed. Sometimes it makes me wonder why I ever considered being a writer. Other times though, I think about what a craft it is to write a good story. To tell a good story, that not only entertains people, but lifts them up and leaves them feeling better off in life for having heard it is one of the greatest feelings in the world. I think that's why if I ever do decide to write for a living, it's going to have to be the modern sacred stories of our day and age, comic books.

I think perhaps the key to being a writer for some is the prospect that they can help someone else with their pen and paper. For others it is a matter of catharsis. I've found that I write best whatever it is I've been reading most recently. To write good comics you'd have to read some first. Got any suggestions...?
