A few years back, I almost got a little health scare, so that led me to eat better and exercise. Well, I was already exercising at the time doing the DDP Yoga, but I wasn't following the eating guidelines that strictly. So, I started to eat better. Stopped drinking. When I started this about 3 years ago, I weighed 246 lbs. When I went on the scale a week ago it read 215 lbs. So, I lost 30 lbs. I feel very proud of myself, because I committed myself to it and did it. And I will continue to do it. I mean, I went down another jean size. And I can fit into size L shirts now. (They're a little tight, but fit.) I have muscles. Sure, I'm still a little flabby in some parts, but there is more work to be done. I'm just getting started. Just remember, if you think you can't do it, you can. I mean, I used to be a two pack a day smoker, and now I haven't had one in over 10 years. (Sure, it took me a few times before quitting actually stuck, but it stuck.) If you commit to something, you will eventually see results. So, don't get down.
(I'll just get down about the state of the world and the country I live in - the US. lol.)
