I know it's been a while since my last post. I've just been busy with work, writing and life in general. I had a birthday in early-August. Work has been driving me insane and making me miserable. I work in a Whole Foods and it's been crazy. People not wanting to wear masks. Acting rude and impatient. Getting upset when we run out of small carts. It's finally getting to me. Luckily, I'm still writing. That helps, along with listening to music, watching shows and movies on Netflix and Prime, and also watching wrestling. As far as the writing goes, I'm working on a piece on Greg Puciato (former lead singer of The Dillinger Escape Plan) about his debut solo album on his own label. Though, it's been taking a while, just because work leaves me so exhausted.
I've also kept up on my exercise. Three days of DDP Yoga and two days of jogging for 30-40. It can be a little difficult getting it all in, since my work schedule changes weekly and I have other things that keep me occupied too, but I do my best. It's paid off. I'm in much better shape. Though the stress of working in a grocery store during a pandemic, has given me a bit of sweet tooth, but I don't overdo it.
Still haven't got a a haircut since the pandemic started. Where I live in the United States, they opened up hair salons a couple of months ago, there have been glitches in me getting to one. Soon. When I do, I will share the photo. Seriously, my hair is a mess, but I have a sweet fu manchu mustache now.
Well, I hope you're all keeping safe and sane wherever you are located in the world. And being kind.
That's about all I have to say. I'll have a new review up within the week, so some more new content. And at least where I live I might actually get to see the new Christopher Nolan film in a theater. Other parts of the country aren't doing as well, because people in those places don't listen. But that's a rant for another time.
Talk to you soon.
