I am still awake, as events have forced me to stay awake. I have been alternating between reading Timequake and journals here and other diary sites and of course commenting. Just waiting and trying to pass time until my obligations are filled and I can crawl to bed and sleep. I will actually use my bedroom, not the day bed I have in the frontroom (the bedroom is usually just for the ladies when they want the privacy). The bedroom has not seen me or any females in quite sometime now. Dammnit.
I watched the newest episode of the Dave Chappelle show and the skit he did about R Kelly was hilarious. I also got to catch an episode of the new Colin Quinn show and it was full of political discussion (comically of course) and lots of humorous racial slurs back and forth at one another. Classic.
I found the album "The Ballads Of Sacco and Vanzetti" by Woody Guthrie and I am so very happy right now. I have been trying to research Sacco and Vanzetti and they have become quite admirable to me so far, and I also love Wooody Guthrie. As for downloading tonight, it has been an eight piece audio collection of Howard Zinn reading "A Peoples History Of The United States". If it weren't for the displaced mindset from lack of sleep, I would be much happier right now.
I have many errands to run tomorrow, so I hope I do not sleep too late. Well kids the last of my obligations has just walked in and now I am off until I return to this house in twenty minutes to retire to my lonely bed. I should do something about that loneliness soon I think.
Oh well, it's not like I can hand out applications.
Cheers, Brian Scott
Oh and yes, I almost forgot. I bought a case of concentrated tomato soup and was wondering if anyone had any ideas of things I could add to it or do with it so I have a variances from day to day. Vegetarian or vegan recipes and ideas only please. Thank you.
Music:
Franz Josef Degenhardt "Sacco and Vanzetti"
Joan Baez "Sacco and Vanzetti - Here's To You"
and
Woody Guthrie "Sacco's Letter To His Son"
