Allo.
Second knee surgery has lead to tons of bruising. I am bruised from my ankle up to my upper thigh, nearly to my ass. The swelling was immense again. Finally getting the swelling under control with constant ice, muscle flexing and lots of Ibuprofen at regular intervals. I bled a lot more during this surgery too, to the point they thought I had used aspirin or some other blood thinner within the past week, which I hadn't. There was a good two inch thick gauze pad that I bled completely through and then into the outer wrapping as well. The suture site bled a little afterwards a few times and again after the stitches were taken out. No idea why.
Hmm. Things. I updated the firmware on my mother's blu-ray player. I then sat down and watched A Christmas Carol with my sister. I had taken her and her daughters to go see it in the theatre, but they are really timid and started crying at the sight of Jacob Marley's ghost and we had to leave. It was animated very well and most of the voice acting was pretty good too. As an overall film, it was decent but I am still more fond of the original Disney cartoon from my childhood or the Bill Murray comedy gold Scrooged.
Then watched How to Train Your Dragon. Loved it! It was funny and adorable. Night Fury was so damn cute! Reminded me of a kitty I once knew (and loved). Most of the dragons come across with either cat or dog like personas and it works to great effect. I will own this!
I beat Batman Arkham Asylum: Game of the Year Edition today! It was on normal so I still have to do it on easy and hard if I want to be elitist and go for the gamer awards. I have collected all the Riddler lists and even the mysterious non Riddler list last Arkham slab. After all this, I am still only technically 84% done with the game. There are all the extra challenges of continuous onslaught enemies for points and timed enemy takedowns. A lot of fun. Can't wait for Batman Arkham City to come out next year.
That is all, I can't really do anything except watch movies, tv shows and play video games right now.
Cheers.
