Allo.
Second knee surgery went well. This one looked a lot better inside than the left. I am hoping for a quicker recovery because of it!
I have recently discovered 30 Rock. Well kind of. I knew of it and had caught glimpses, but with all this time on my hands and having hooked up my netflix to my ps3 finally, I just devoured the first season. I loved it! I have always had a thing for Tina Fey and have always been made fun of for it, but how can you not LOVE Liz Lemon? Tell me!
I am also a member of Gods Girls and everyone there is really nice. I am working on a gift package for one of the girls of all my mx cds! She lives in Wisconsin too, so that is neato.
I am working on things for Tweedle & VinylMonroe as well. Actually those are discs of comic books! Yay for nerdy comic books!
I am very lonely.
My leg hurts lots but that is because it is not iced right now and probably not in the best position, but it is what I have to do to use the computer. Oh well.
I watched Jonah Hex on blu ray today. I love Jonah Hex, especially the Vertigo books by Joe R Lansdale & Timothy Truman, but Hex in general. So I may have gone with high hopes for a character that I have enjoyed for at least ten years, but I don't think it would have mattered. It was just basically crap! So disappointed!
Hmm. Well I loved Bronson by Nicholas Winding Refn, so today I watched his latest effort Valhalla Rising. Equally impressive as far as visual style and use of colors. Bronson stands hard on it's own, so I can't really compare the two story or acting wise, but Valhalla handles it's subject matter well and with a unique subtlety in dialogue. I will continue to keep an eye on Winding Refn!
Cheers.
