Man the end of the year comes quick and hard, like a viking on a rape and pillage fun run.
A lot of stuff is going on right now and while most of it isn't great, I am doing surprisingly well so far. My thyroid condition is still considered Graves but I have switched 180 and am now Hypothyroid as opposed to Hyper. So far it has meant an increase in appetite, more muscle degeneration, new meds, and my blood pressure pills don't seem to work as well. Oh well, i take it as it comes.
My father's condition is not much better either. He is around a hundred and twenty pounds and dropping more each day. he used to weigh around two hundred and it is very scary and sad to see him shirtless. I am so scared but I don't what to do or if there even is anything I can do. I grow to hate cancer more each day.
Christmas is near and I am roughly halfway done with my shopping. Not having a girlfriend this year has really opened up some funds I would not normally have. I am looking to spend around fifty on each family member and quite a bit more on my father. I think that should be a sufficient amount and the everyone should be pleased with what they get.
I got a new tattoo last week. After sitting through a four hour session of watching Jesse tattoo Drew's leg (with an awesome Tony Moore Walking Dead cover) I had to get something, even if it is little. So Drew and I now have matching Snowtown tattoos from the Warren Ellis written and Ben Templesmith drawn comic book Fell. I got it done after Jesse finished up Drew's leg on his return appointment. The same day I scheduled a four hour session to start on my arm sleeve of a giant squid that starts at my shoulder and goes to my wrist. It will probably hurt a lot but it will be worth it and my longest sitting, beating out the three and a half hours for my chest. I really loved feeling that needle on my skin again.
