Allo,
I have not been around here for a while. I have been sick. Runny nose, constantly tired, sneezing fits, headaches, etc. I did however convince myself to leave the house long enough to take advantage of the twenty percent off sale at Half Price Books.
Here is what I all came home with:
"Glamorama" (hardcover) by Bret Easton Ellis
"Archangel" (hardcover) by Robert Harris
"Enigma" (hardcover) by Robert Harris
"Infinite Jest" (hardcover) by David Foster Wallace
"Infinite Jest" (softcover) by David Foster Wallace
"Girl With Curious Hair" by David Foster Wallace
"House Of Leaves" by Mark Z Danielewski
"Better Than Sex: Confessions Of A Political Junkie" by Hunter S Thompson
"Songs Of The Doomed" by Hunter S Thompson
"Generation Of Swine" by Hunter S Thompson
"The Girl's Guide To Hunting and Fishing" by Melissa Bank
"Crash" by J.G. Ballard
"White Noise" by Don DeLillo
"Life After God" by Douglas Coupland
"One Gorilla" by Atsuko Morozumi
Also, the odd McSweeney's Quarterly Ten (the one that they don't even post on their site and was distributed by another publishing company..hmmm) which features new stories by Michael Chabon, Rick Moody, Dave Eggers, Nick Hornby, and even Neil Gaiman.
I picked up two more books from the introducing series also. They were "Introducing Sartre" and "Introducing Joyce".
It was a good day for books. I took my brother and my mother to the first store and then my friend Jacob to the second. Today went well, but now I feel more sickly than past days and need a long nap.
Cheers.
Noise:
Sage Francis "Hey Bobby"
Themselves "Thisaboutthecity"
Aquasky "The Shamen (remx w/ Sixtoo)"

I really like your circle tattoos. How'd those get done? I want someone to do freehand outlines of circles on me, but I'm afraid no artist will agree to it.
