Damn it! I got my corset yesterday and it's too big. Now I have to completely rethink what I'm going to wear to the Edwardian Ball.
It also means that if I can't return the thing, soon I will have a black & white leather corset, never worn, up for sale. Let me know if you're interested. It's a size 22", which means it will fit someone you has a 24"-26" natural waist. I knew that there was a high chance it would be too big, I just thought it would work out... but this thing is way too big. I can close up the busk easily when the thing is fully laced with the ends touching. Blargh.
Went to the Barcade yesterday. Had fun, but geez what a dump it's become. I guess, from what an employee told me, was that they just don't have any money to fix anything. Yonderboy even saw a rat scamper across the floor. Which we both thought was kinda cute, but ya know. Everything was broken. Even games that I played early in the night, when I went to go play them again they'd be broken. Lame. I like that place too. I think they need to turn it into more of something like Dave&Busters or Gameworks though. More food, more games. I think they'd get a lot more people there. I'm not sure though, because it might be the whole Metreon that's not doing so well. We went in yesterday and it was soooo quiet. I think since the Westfield opened up with their theaters, which are really nice btw, they've lost business. Oddly, I think the Westfield bought the Metreon from Sony recently. Not positive, but I think I remember reading something in the SF business times.
Anyhow- so touching more on the topic of the new theater. We went and saw Children of Men over the weekend. $7 matinee, not too bad. The theater was really nice, big comfy leather seats, armrests that move up for optimum movie watching cuddling, and it was huge. I think we're going to go see Pan's Labyrinth there. Hopefully soon. Doesn't Pan mean bread in Spanish? Hrmmmm.... Hahaha, I can just imagine a labyrinth made of bread... huh, dead end? Not to worry, I'll just eat my way out! .... Ummm, yeah, please disregard that last example of my ever growing retardedness.
Ok- 10 days till the ball. I really have to crack down and figure out what I'm wearing now....
Kisses
Oh and PS: I got a new phone but I lost all of my old numbers. If you think I should have your phone number, send it to me.

p.s. lucky. i heard the edwardian ball is sold out. although they're having some sort of edwardian-themed dance thing the next night at GAMH due to popular demand. this is the thing that sucks about getting fat though, i have absolutely nothing to wear. unless i stop by in my sweatpants and hoodie
