Laaaaazy Sunday. I love it.
Went to breakfast at Boogaloos, then had a gibraltor at Ritual. At around 12 we decided that to go have a picnic in my favorite picnic spot ever, the Mountain View cemetery in Oakland. We stopped at whole foods, picked up some snacks and then headed over. Traffic was a breeze and the new car was fun to ride in. We got there, found a nice spot... great view, shade, and we weren't on anyones plot. Sat down and ate, then laid out and enjoyed each others company. After we spent enough time there, we head over down to Piedmont st. and went to L'amyx Tea House. The smell of tea houses always reminds me of A'cuppa. I miss that place. I got a tasty passion fruit iced green tea, and the boy got a mango iced black. Really good. Then we walked around for a bit, but there's really not much on Piedmont except places to eat and we had already done that. So we headed out and drove around West Oakland, looking at places.
It's beautiful out.
We're home now laying on the couch, both on our computers, listening to Vitamins for you. It's nice. I love days like these, and I love that I get to spend them with someone so awesome.
Tonight will probably involve movie watching on the projector, possibly on the airmattress (if I'm allowed to blow it up ), rice krispy treats that we made last night (yes, WE, it took two of us to make rice krispy treats ), and probably a pizza.
Hope your Sunday was as good as mine.
Kisses
