So, my prom outfit is all here. I'm not crazy about it, but it'll do. Maybe if I just find the perfect shoes the rest wont matter. Isn't that how it always is?
I have to make a few "alterations" to the dress. It involves nothing but scissors.
Now- hair, what am I going to do with my hair???
Cocktail party at our place pre-prom. As per usual.
Kisses
Oh Oh OH!!! AND- Old Man is still with us! Surprisingly so. He's a bit dry and flakey (more than usual) but other than that, he seems to be ok. I decided to introduce him to lavender (drops in a humidifier and some mixed with avocado oil as a rub for him). I'm not sure if it's because of this that he's doing ok, but I think it may have helped. It's sparked an interest in me in learning herbology, and homeopathic aids for animals. In particular rodents. We do so much testing for human medications, herbs, etc. on rats that we should be using these things we learn to help promote rat health. When lavender was tested on rats it was found that it helped in a number of cancers (including lung) and tumors two things that rats are proned to die from.
I love that little guy, and am so grateful to have some more time with him. He's gained some weight back. His bones aren't sticking out as much. Come to think of it, all of the boys have seemed to have gained more weight. Even Stan. *shrug*

I was going to go to Prom with my friend Julia (the one you met at DNA). But, I've been so busy I kind of forgot about it. So, instead I spent a bunch of money on concert tickets this month. Are you going to see Ministry at the Fillmore? It was sold out before I checked, so I'm seeing them in Sacramento by myself ::sigh:: . Yes, I love them that much (even if the new album isn't that great). Then on June 6th The Panic Channel (Dave Navarro's new band) at the Independent in your fair city, and Eagles of Death Metal at Slim's on the 14th. You should try to go to one of those shows (or both)! Tickets are only $16. I recommend the Eagles of Death Metal show, it's the most fun you can have with your clothes on, seriously. Well... have fun at Prom. Take lot's of pics so I can see what I'm missing for the third year in a row. To bad.. I had a nice vintage ruffled tuxedo shirt picked out, too. Oh, well.
