I'm going on Accutane soon. I have an appointment next week to get the Rx, then there's a bunch of stuff I have to do before I actually get it. I think. Something about pregnancy tests, and being on two types of birthcontrol, being a part of this program that you have to sign a contract for... tres bizzaro. But whatever, if it gives me clear skin (and when I say clear I mean manageable. My skin will never be clear thanks to the scarring left from taking Ortho Tricycline) that's what matters. Then at least I can look into laser skin treatments or microdermabrasion for the scars. I'm tired of having bad skin. It's been 13 years. I've had enough. Enough of the magic face washes, gels, lotions, potions, pills, and herbals. Enough of the diet changes, face masks, and weird face washing routines. Enough of the MAKEUP!! Ok, I'm a makeup whore, and I love it. But I'd also like to not have to wear it if I don't want to.

Gah! Accutane was a last resort, and I'm definitely in need of my last resort. If this doesn't work, I'm just going to skin my face and hope I regenerate a new, flawless epidermis in it's place. Wish me luck.
