Ha! You've hit the nail right on the head. If someone's in my store longer than three minutes I ask if I can help them find anything.

The worst are these people who wait until your closing and stand outside pounding on the door for anywhere up to ten minutes. Then when they realize that won't help them they resort to begging, threatening or telling me off assuming that will somehow help their chances of getting in.
